Dr. Aslyn Brandt grew up in Michigan before moving to Florida. She attended Eckerd College for her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology before completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. Dr. Brandt completed a one-year internship in small animal and exotic medicine and surgery at VCA Valley Animal Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. She gained experience in a variety of species and her interests expanded to include small exotics. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and traveling up north with her Pitbull puppy Marlowe and significant other Matt! Dr. Brandt is looking forward to meeting all the furry and scaly critters that make up the St. Francis Pet Care family and she can’t wait to meet all of you!
Dr. Michael Amsberry
Dr. Amsberry was born the seventh of eight boys, raised in the midst of the farms in the Willamette Valley of western Oregon. He attended Franciscan University in Steubenville Ohio earning a BA in Biology/Chemistry in 1986 and Oregon State College of Veterinary Medicine for his DVM in 1990.
He loves his family and enjoys church life, long-distance running, being on the water or at the beach, mountain biking, warm bread, garlic, and a good red wine.
Dr. Jaclyn Bruce
Dr. Jaclyn Bruce grew up in South Carolina before moving to Georgia to attend the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at BluePearl Veterinary Specialists, in Tampa, FL. After a few years as an associate veterinarian in the Florida Keys, she moved back to the Tampa area and has continued caring for dog, cat, and exotic patients. Her main interests are internal medicine and exotic pet medicine. Dr. Jaclyn lives in Wesley Chapel with her husband, rambunctious geriatric pit bull, two snakes, a gecko and a tortoise.
Dr. Alison Adler
Dr. Alison Adler is a graduate of Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine and University of Florida undergraduate with a degree in Animal Science. She has a special interest in difficult medicine cases and breed-related conditions. She has been practicing in the Tampa area for more than 10 years. Her experience in high-quality practices with surgery, medicine, and working with board-certified doctors have given her excellent skills to bring to the clients and patients of St Francis Pet Care.
Dr. Adler is a second-generation native of Tampa. She lives with her husband, Hunter, and daughter, Abbey. She has a houseful of fuzzy babies too, including Luke – a Lab/Pyrenees mix, Po – a Chow/Shepherd mix, and Kiki – a smart kitty. She is so happy to be here at St. Francis and can’t wait to meet all of you!
